WSGI Middleware recommendations [closed]
I have heard that there is lots of interesting and useful WSGI middleware around. However, I am not sure which ones (apart from the ones that are part of pylons) are useful and stable. What is your favourite WSGI middleware?

Recommendations for perl-to-python interoperation?
We have a sizable code base in Perl. For the forseeable future, our codebase will remain in Perl. However, we're looking into adding a GUI-based dashboard utility. We are considering writing the dashboard in Python (using tkinter or wx). The problem, however, is that we would like to leverage our existing Perl codebase in the Python GUI. So... any suggestions on how achieve this? We are considering a few options:

Recommendations for a simple 2D graphics python library that can output to screen and pdf?
I'm looking for an easy-to-use graphics lib for python that can output to screen as well as pdf. So, I would use code to draw some stuff (simple prims like ovals, rectangles, lines and points) to screen and then when things look good, have it output to pdf.
